Short visits are simple: citizens of 93 countries get 60 days visa-free, extendable by 30. Remote workers can look at the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), valid five years for stays of up to 180 days at a time. Over-50s use the O or O-A retirement routes with financial requirements, while employment needs a Non-B visa and work permit sponsored by a Thai company. Rules change often — verify with the Thai embassy or a licensed agent before travelling, and never overstay: fines and re-entry bans apply.
