The full moon of the twelfth lunar month, the night of Loy Krathong, falls on Tuesday 24 November 2026. The Tourism Authority of Thailand published its national calendar on 5 November, and the Bangkok events start a week before the full moon.

In Bangkok the calendar lists Rama VIII Bridge in Bang Phlat from 16 to 25 November, Phra Sumen Fort and Maha Kan Fort in Phra Nakhon from 23 to 25 November, two spots on the Prem Prachakon canal (beside Don Mueang police station from 23 to 25 November, and at Wat Samian Nari on the 24th), and Kasetsart University on 23 and 24 November. A route linking Wat Saket, Wat Ratchanatdaram, Wat Thepthidaram and Maha Kan Fort runs from 17 to 29 November.

Outside the capital, Sukhothai Historical Park holds its festival from 15 to 24 November and Tak floats 1,000 krathongs on its river from 21 to 24 November. TAT did not publish times or entry prices for the Bangkok sites.
