Chinatown's bar scene is on Soi Nana, the Chinatown one off Charoen Krung near Wat Traimit, not the Sukhumvit one: a dozen cocktail bars, natural-wine bars and a jazz room in restored shophouses, plus a few more along Song Wat Road by the river. Yaowarat Road itself is the street-food street until about midnight; the bars run to 1am or 2am. Go for a drink after eating on the road, not instead.
