Flooding continued in Bangkok's Lat Krabang and Nong Chok districts on 21 October 2026, affecting 168,203 families, according to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation. Both are on the city's eastern edge, around Suvarnabhumi Airport; the department named no other Bangkok district.

Nineteen provinces were also flooded, mostly in the Central Plains. Ayutthaya had the largest count outside Bangkok, 72,686 families across 14 districts, followed by Prachin Buri (40,308), Nakhon Nayok (23,835) and Suphan Buri (22,598). Across the country 1.22 million people were affected, and 82 people have died since 16 September, four of them in Bangkok.

If you are heading to Ayutthaya or staying near the airport, check the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and provincial flood updates before you go.
