Kuwait Airways adds a non-stop Kuwait–Phuket route, Tuesdays and Saturdays
By Cesar RodriguezUpdated
Kuwait Airways began flying Kuwait–Phuket non-stop on 27 October 2026, twice a week on a 278-seat A330-900neo, with up to four a week from 2 December.

Kuwait Airways landed its first Kuwait–Phuket flight, KU407, at Phuket International Airport on 27 October 2026, TAT said. The route runs every Tuesday and Saturday on a 278-seat Airbus A330-900neo. KU407 leaves Kuwait at 03:30 on Tuesdays and 03:25 on Saturdays and lands at 14:55 and 14:50; the return, KU408, leaves Phuket at 16:15 and lands in Kuwait at 20:35.
The airline keeps its six weekly Kuwait–Bangkok flights, so it now flies eight a week to Thailand. It plans up to four Phuket flights a week from 2 December 2026 to 3 February 2027, which TAT says is still subject to final scheduling.
Before this route, travellers from Kuwait reached Phuket with a connection through Bangkok or another hub.
