TAT has opened the last full rehearsal of the Royal Barge Procession to the public on Wednesday 28 October 2026. The 52 barges, crewed by 2,200 Royal Thai Navy personnel and arranged in five columns about 1,200 metres long, leave Rama VIII Bridge at 15:00 and finish at Wat Arun. The real procession carries the royal kathin robe offering to Wat Arun on Friday 6 November.

On the Thonburi bank you can watch from under Rama VIII Bridge by the King Rama VIII Monument, Chaloem Phra Kiat 72 Phansa Park next to Siriraj Hospital, Wat Rakhang pier and Wat Arun. On the Phra Nakhon bank the listed spots are Santichaiprakan Park by Phra Sumen Fort, Tha Maharaj, Tha Chang and Nagaraphirom Park, which is the only one that needs pre-registration.

The nearest MRT stop is Sanam Chai, for Tha Tien and Tha Wat Pho; from Bang Khun Non or Fai Chai MRT, buses run to the Thonburi spots.
