The Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026 opens on 1 November at Nong Dae wetland for 134 days, with gardens from 17 countries.

The Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026 opens on Sunday 1 November at the Nong Dae wetland in Muang district and runs for 134 days, until 14 March 2027. The site covers almost 2,000 rai, and water covers 60 to 70% of it. The deputy agriculture minister said on 22 October that the main construction is finished.
The theme is "Diversity of Life": 32 gardens from 17 countries, plant competitions, farming and fisheries exhibits, and stalls run by local farmers and community enterprises. Organisers expect 20,000 to 30,000 visitors a day.
The ministry says flights, hotels and restaurants in Udon Thani and seven neighbouring provinces are almost fully booked for the opening period, so book ahead. After the expo the site becomes a public park.
