Bangkok street food ranked world's best for the fifth year running
An international culinary survey once again puts Bangkok at the top of its global street food index.
Bangkok has topped a global street food ranking for the fifth consecutive year, with judges highlighting Yaowarat's night stalls and the enduring quality of the city's boat noodles, grilled satay and mango sticky rice. The survey of 50 cities credited Bangkok's mix of hawker heritage, low prices and hygiene improvements introduced by the city administration. Tourism operators expect the ranking to further boost food-focused travel to the capital.
