New winter routes to Thailand: Virgin Atlantic to Phuket, LOT and Belavia to Bangkok
By Cesar RodriguezUpdated
TAT lists three new services for the 2026-27 winter: Virgin Atlantic London Heathrow to Phuket three times a week, LOT Warsaw to Bangkok and Belavia Minsk to Bangkok.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand named three new air services at World Travel Market in London on 4 November. Virgin Atlantic flies London Heathrow to Phuket three times a week this winter. LOT Polish Airlines runs Warsaw to Bangkok, and Belarus's Belavia flies Minsk to Bangkok, with a Phuket leg planned but not yet dated.
TAT did not give start dates or frequencies for the LOT and Belavia routes in the release; check the airlines' own timetables before booking. The same release says TAT expects more than 31 million foreign arrivals in 2026.
Two other dated items from the announcement: SOAR Ocean Club, a venue for marine activities and evening shows in Pattaya, is due to open this month, and Ultra Thailand, a trade event for luxury travel businesses, runs 20-24 June 2027 at the Four Seasons on the Chao Phraya.
