Arrival e-gates at Suvarnabhumi now take holders of 33 passports, under an Immigration Bureau order of 24 August 2026, the bureau's commissioner told the Bangkok Post on 5 November. The list covers visa-exempt and e-visa nationalities, among them South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy.

Travellers who qualify are told by email after they file the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. Don Mueang and Phuket airports are next, with no start date given.

Daily use rose from 744 passengers at the soft launch on 18 September to 2,125, and 94,760 foreign arrivals went through the gates up to 31 October; Singapore passports were the largest group at 21,684. Our airport guide lists all 33 passports and who still has to queue at a staffed counter.
