Koh Chang → Bangkok: One ticket covers the air-conditioned coach to Ao Thammachat pier in Trat and the crossing to Ao Sapparot on Koh Chang, arriving around 14:00. Check-in closes 45 minutes before departure and the ferry does not wait for a late bus that isn't its own.

Bangkok → Koh Kood: Longest of the eastern-island runs and the one most sensitive to a missed connection — the Laem Sok catamarans are twice-daily, not hourly. Book the bus and boat as one ticket so a late coach is the operator's problem.
