The upper end of the Bangkok market is concentrated in three places: the river, the Sathorn–Silom towers and Thong Lo. They buy different things. The river buys quiet and a boat ride to dinner; Sathorn buys the shortest commute to everywhere; Thong Lo buys walking distance to the restaurants but not to a station. The ranking below asks for the upper tier and weights quiet and walkability, and each entry carries the drawback that comes with it.
